Darth Ventures is built around the opposite premise: OppoDB keeps the analysis as a standing artifact, refreshed on a stated cadence, and visible to the team every morning.

What the model rests on.
Every engagement is built around three analytical pillars inside OppoDB — turnout, demographics, and district trend. Each pillar is a discrete analytical workstream with its own data inputs, scoring approach, refresh cadence, and strategy output.
Built inside OppoDB from the state voter file, prior election returns, and modeled likelihood-to-vote. Persuadable and turnout universes are scored to the precinct level, then re-scored whenever a new data wave arrives — not delivered stale at the start of the engagement.
Age, geography, household composition, and partisan lean combine into a demographic overlay OppoDB can segment on. The model is what makes the difference between targeting a message and targeting the audience that actually decides the race.
Historical returns, registration shifts, and in-cycle polling flow back into OppoDB to track where the district is moving — and where the model needs to be updated. Trend tracking is what keeps the strategy responsive instead of running off a snapshot taken at kickoff.
Four stages, every engagement.
The methodology is the same on every race — a primary-season sprint or a full general-cycle run. OppoDB sizes the model to the map and the timeline; the four-stage process stays the shape the campaign runs from.
Data ingestion
OppoDB pulls the state voter file, prior election results at the precinct level, any polling the campaign already has, and the third-party panel data we license on every engagement. The refresh cadence is set up front — daily, weekly wave, monthly — and the model is built to the cadence the race actually has.
Model build
The data feeds into a single OppoDB persuasion model: scored universes, demographic overlays, and turnout likelihood, calibrated to the race. Every claim the team makes downstream can be traced back to the model, the wave, and the cutoff date — not gut instinct or a kickoff slide.
Strategy translation
OppoDB produces a message plan, a channel mix, a turf cut, a paid-media brief, and a daily/weekly cadence of review. Each lane — strategy, paid, field, the war room — runs from the same numbers, so the work reconciles instead of drifting in parallel.
In-flight recalibration
New polling, performance data from the live buy, and turnout signal get rolled back into OppoDB on the cadence we set at kickoff. Strategy adjusts while the race is still live — not after the fact, when the timeline is gone.

Monthly update

Paid-media performance, turnout signal, and field outcomes roll into OppoDB on a 72-hour loop. What is moving is visible to the war room the next morning.

A small set of tested message variants from OppoDB, each tied to a demographic or persuasion segment, with the polling that backs each one. No narrative goes to field untested.
A channel mix
A channel mix OppoDB sizes to the universe and the timeline — paid digital, mail, field, earned media — with the role each channel plays in the strategy written down, not assumed.
A weekly recalibration loop
A standing review cadence that rolls new data back into OppoDB every week, re-scopes the spend if the buy is drifting, and keeps the campaign on a written plan instead of an instinct.
